The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”), the federal agency responsible for enforcing workplace safety laws across the country, recently issued additional recommendations and guidance on workplace safety and COVID-19. During the pandemic, OSHA provided guidance to employers with regard to their responsibilities for reducing and preventing the spread of COVID-19 in their workplaces since the start of the pandemic. The recently issued guidance provides further recommendations and guidance for employers for reopening businesses and taking steps to prevent further transmission of COVID-19 in the workplace.
